Project description
Sensory Overload connects the city to the body through an experimental montage of overstimulation. It is a visual response to the way sounds, scents, and images collide over the course of a day downtown.
Sarah Alexander performs in the video. I recorded all footage myself and layered field recordings with added sound effects.

Process
I made this video by capturing footage and sound from daily life in the city, then layering them into a dense audiovisual composition. The editing process was driven by accumulation, contrast, and collision, using montage to recreate the feeling of overstimulation. The final version was achieved through visual refinement, specifically for the superimposed body parts.
